The Ocean is the Limit: Surviving Illegal Migration

Overfishing has resulted in an environmental crisis in Senegal, with a disproportionate impact on small fishermen.

In this thought-provoking short film, we hear firsthand experience of Pape Less, a Senegalese fisherman from Soumbedioune (a fishing town in Dakar) who felt obliged to “barça wala barsax” (illegally migrate) in order to provide for his family.
