We seek commission proposals from African-descent journalists, photographers, and content creators from Africa or the diaspora.
It doesn’t matter where you live; whether it’s a remote town in Europe or a suburb in Africa, Pin Africa is always eager to hear your stories, ideas, and views.
So, if you have stories, news, analysis, ideas, or interests that you want to generate content about, please fill out our pitching form. Your work must be unique and relevant to Africa.

Articles submitted for consideration on Pin Africa should be between 1000-1500 words except specially commissioned pieces.

- Before submitting your pitch, please make sure it is original.
- Please do not start working on your pitch idea specifically for Pin Africa before we have commissioned it.
- A confirmation email will be sent to you if we accept your pitch. This will contain full details to help you successfully submit your commission for publication.
- There may be a delay before we can respond to your pitch, please allow time for us to consider pitches.
- If your pitch is accepted, please be sure not to offer it for publication elsewhere, or let Pin Africa know at the earliest.
- We may not be able to give you feedback if you are unsuccessful, but please don’t give up, pitch to us again.
